Hey howdy hey! Welcome to another curated list of vintage Disney goods from yours truly. Anticipation is building as the 3rd edition of Test Track is set to open next month on July 22nd; inspired by the pavilion’s original World of Motion attraction. But for now, you best buckle up for this blast from the past, as we explore some classic Test Track 1.0 treasures!
Before sleek sim cars and digital design labs, EPCOT’s Test Track had a very different kind of thrill, complete with crash walls, temperature extremes, and some unforgettable yellow-suited stars: crash test dummies. As we dig through the dusty corners of Disney history, we’re bringing the spotlight back to the first edition of Test Track, a ride that put guests in the hot seat of real-world automotive testing. Ah, I can still hear the background music from the original queue…
Lightning McQueen, is that you? I had to do a triple take at this one. This rarely-found youth t-shirt looks like a piece from today’s Cars Land. The split tie-dye? The flamin’ hot Test Track crash test vehicle? Iconic.

This front & back t-shirt is also a rare find, especially for the reasonable rate it’s posted for. I have this one in my personal collection, otherwise I would have snagged it! You’ve got the classic logo on the front, with a scared Mickey in between a gaggle of Goofy dummies. A fun wardrobe staple for your next EPCOT day!
Available HERE | $40.00
Speaking of Goofy dummies, Disney once had an entire merchandise collection with this attraction-specific character. Here he is in plush form:

And again, filling this toy pull-back car. Poor Goofy. I love little knick knacks like this to spruce up my desk or bookshelves, adding a bit of vintage Disney whimsy to everyday life.
Available HERE | $12.00
Last but not least is this vintage EPCOT photo holder. These are great for displaying your Instax or Polaroid photos today! Not only does it feature a tiny ride vehicle from the OG Test Track, but Spaceship Earth still has the Mickey hand and wand pointing to ‘Epcot’… you know, in case you forgot where you were. BONUS: this one’s listed for a very low price!
Available HERE | $5.00
That’s all for today! Do you have a favorite memory or souvenir from the original version of Test Track? I’d love to know!
