Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show will return in 2021! In this fireworks show, Minnie Mouse invites everyone to come together in a celebration of the magic of Christmas. The show features fireworks, projections and beloved holiday songs.
The projections for this fireworks show can be seen on the front of Cinderella Castle and on the buildings along Main Street, U.S.A. If you watch the fireworks from any other location in the park, just be aware that you will not be able to see those projections.
The fireworks spectacular will be presented exclusively on event nights.
Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade takes place twice during event nights beginning in Frontierland and ending on Main Street, U.S.A. Guests will see some of their favorite Disney friends dressed in their holiday best spreading magical Christmas cheer!
It's important to note that for 2021, the parade has been condensed for Disney Very Merriest After Hour. It still features Mickey Mouse and your favorite floats, plus marching wooden soldiers and Santa Claus, but it's not the same as the regular version of the parade we've seen during event nights in the past.
When choosing your spot to watch the parade, you don't have to stake it out hours ahead of time as the crowds are fairly low for this event. What you should keep in mind is that Main Street, U.S.A. is the only place that you'll be able to experience the magical snowfall – and trust us, it's magical and you don't want to miss it. The good news is that the parade runs twice during the event so if you catch it back in Frontierland or Liberty Square on its first run, you can catch the later parade on Main Street, U.S.A. to experience the snow!
Disney Very Merriest After Hours just got even merrier, with Mickey & Minnie’s Very Merry Memories joining the lineup of event-exclusive entertainment for 2021! Guests attending can join Mickey and his pals for a celebration filled with music, dancing and nostalgic yuletide fun.
Presented on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage, the show features nods to classic Magic Kingdom holiday stage shows, including “Mickey’s Twas the Night Before Christmas,” “Celebrate the Season” and “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration.”
This stage show is very entertaining and the performers are fantastic. The show has a festive vibe and the throwbacks to prior shows are just perfect.
Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland becomes the coolest place to get down when denizens of the North Pole drop by for the holiday cheeriest dance party in the whole Magic Kingdom!
If you've got kiddos with you who need to get some wiggles out, this dance party is the perfect place to let them do so. The music is upbeat and the performers are a lot of fun. Besides, who doesn't love Stitch donning his Santa coat and hat?
Also, the Reindeer Wranglers perform multiple times nightly in Frontierland. They put a country western twist on Christmas music in a very unique way!
Spot Disney friends throughout the park dressed in their holiday best!
- Town Square Theatre – Mickey Mouse (NOTE: Mickey is not appearing in Christmas attire but is in his special 50th Anniversary outfit.)
- Rockettower Plaza Stage – Stitch
- Mad Tea Party – Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum
- Princess Fairytale Hall – Cinderella, Elena, Rapunzel, and Tiana (NOTE: The princesses are wearing their regular outfits, not special holiday dresses.)
- Adventureland Stage – Captain Hook and Mr. Smee
- Country Bear Jamboree Balcony – Big Al and Liver Lips McGrowl
- The Crystal Palace – Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore
- Behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe – Santa Claus
At special hard-ticketed events in the past, most if not all Disney characters were dressed up in their holiday finest, but the majority of them were dressed in their regular outfits that day guest who don't attend the event can also see. We did notice that Winnie the Pooh and his friends had holiday scarves, and that was great to see.
- Gingerbread Almond Cake Pop – Gingerbread Almond Cake dipped in White Chocolate – Golden Oak Outpost – $4.99

- Orange Bird Churro – Marshmallow Cream, topped with Orange Candy Slices – Main Street, U.S.A. Snack Cart – $7.00
Complimentary popcorn, ice cream novelties, and select beverages are available from snack carts throughout the park during event hours. Snickerdoodles and hot cocoa are available at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, Columbia Harbour House, Pinocchio Village Haus, and Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.
Typically at hard-ticketed events, we see special merchandise brought out during the party hours, but that was not the case this year. Watch the video as Ryno takes you into the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. to have a look at some of the holiday merchandise Magic Kingdom has to offer.
