Christmas at Disneyland Paris is going to look a little different this year, and World of Frozen has a lot to do with it! The resort’s holiday season runs from November 7, 2026, through January 6, 2027, bringing back plenty of Christmas favorites along with some brand-new additions.
This will be the very first Christmas celebrated inside World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World, and Disney is going all in on the occasion. Arendelle will be decked out for the holidays, Anna and Elsa are getting new winter outfits, Olaf will lead a Christmas musical interlude, and even Kristoff will join the festivities. And that’s only one part of what’s coming to Disneyland Paris this holiday season.
Christmas Comes to Arendelle for the First Time
World of Frozen is clearly the biggest addition to this year’s celebration. Arendelle will be decorated for Christmas for the first time, complete with holiday touches throughout the village and a towering Christmas tree as the centerpiece. Throughout the day, guests may also come across spontaneous holiday moments, including a 15-minute musical interlude led by Olaf, joined by a Christmas carol choir, Queen Anna, and Queen Elsa. The performance will feature songs from Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, including “Ring in the Season” and “When We’re Together.”
Anna and Elsa will appear at Arendelle Bay wearing brand-new winter outfits, and there will be even more familiar faces around the village. Oaken and Mossie will be meeting guests, while Kristoff will make his first Disneyland Paris appearances during the Christmas season. The concept art Disney shared gives us a lovely first look at what they’re planning, and honestly, Arendelle already lends itself so perfectly to Christmas that I’m surprised we’re only just getting to see this happen.
Guests looking for a little Arendelle Christmas shopping can also stop at Arendelle Boutique. Along with merchandise dedicated to World of Frozen, the shop will carry creations inspired by Scandinavian craftsmanship that could make some pretty fitting holiday souvenirs.
Santa Claus and Disney Characters Get Into the Christmas Spirit
Over at Disneyland Park, Santa Claus will meet guests at Disney Clothiers on Main Street, U.S.A., while Mickey Mouse and his friends will be bundled up in their winter attire throughout the resort. Stitch will be waiting at Videopolis in his Santa suit, Jack Skellington can be found at Critter Corral, and select Disney Princesses will meet guests in Central Plaza.
And yes, the Santa Stitch photo Disney released is every bit as adorable as you’d expect. That fluffy white beard situation alone is going to produce some pretty fantastic Christmas card photos.
Disneyland Hotel Gets Dressed Up for Christmas
The holidays will extend well beyond the theme parks, with all of the Disney Hotels at Disneyland Paris receiving seasonal decorations. Disneyland Hotel will once again be one of the showpieces, with its elaborate holiday décor returning to the lobby along with two seasonal shows, The Keeper of Time and The Light of Winter.
There will also be Christmas-inspired dining at Royal Banquet Buffet Restaurant and seasonal drinks at Fleur de Lys Bar. The My Royal Dream children’s makeover experience will get into the holiday spirit as well, and Disney is introducing a Nutcracker Mickey ornament designed in the Disneyland Hotel’s signature colors.
Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade Returns
One of Disneyland Paris’ biggest holiday traditions will be back as Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade makes its way through Disneyland Park. The award-winning parade features glowing floats, Disney Princesses, beloved characters, and Santa Claus himself.
Once darkness falls, all those lights should make the parade even more spectacular along Main Street, U.S.A. The festivities will lead into the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, featuring a live choir and holiday projections. Between the parade, the tree lighting, and all those decorations overhead, this is one of those times when Main Street seems designed specifically for Christmas.
Even More Christmas Entertainment Is Coming
Let’s Sing Christmas! will return to Videopolis Theatre, with Mickey and friends performing classic Christmas carols. Disney has also revealed a brand-new show for 2026: Minnie Mouse and Mrs. Claus will appear together near Sleeping Beauty Castle for a new musical celebration. The show will include original Christmas songs created specifically for Disneyland Paris.
It’s a relatively small detail in a very big holiday announcement, but I’m curious about this one. Minnie and Mrs. Claus getting their own Christmas moment in front of the castle sounds so charming!
Christmas Food, Shopping, and Those Adorable Chalets
Of course, there will be plenty to eat. Chalets Gourmet will return to Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World with seasonal specialties served from colorful little holiday kiosks. Restaurants throughout both parks will also add Christmas-inspired dishes and other seasonal creations to their menus.
Holiday merchandise is getting a refresh for 2026 as well. La Boutique du Château will carry exclusive Christmas ornaments, while other new items include a Christmas Mickey sweater, a festive poncho, and a collection of holiday home décor. We’ll undoubtedly get a much closer look at the food and merchandise as November gets closer, and you KNOW we’ll be watching for that Foodie Guide when it arrives.
Disneyland Paris Will Ring in 2027 in Both Parks
The celebration won’t end with Christmas. On December 31, both Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World will host their own New Year’s Eve festivities, giving guests two very different ways to welcome 2027.
Disney Adventure World will hold parties throughout its different worlds before ending the night with a drone and fireworks show above World of Frozen. Disneyland Park will have Disney characters joining DJ parties, followed by a special midnight fireworks display above Sleeping Beauty Castle. Disney notes that the drone portion of the Disney Adventure World show will be weather permitting.
With World of Frozen celebrating Christmas for the first time, new entertainment joining some of Disneyland Paris’ best holiday traditions, and two parks throwing New Year’s Eve parties, Christmas 2026 is shaping up to be a pretty spectacular one at Disneyland Paris. But I keep coming back to Arendelle. Seeing that village decorated for Christmas, with Anna and Elsa in their winter outfits, Olaf singing holiday songs, and Kristoff wandering around really does feel like one of those rare occasions when a land in a Disney theme park and a holiday were practically made for each other.
