Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will officially open a 7-foot-tall gingerbread version of the hotel on Friday, November 22nd. Disneyland pastry chefs are currently hard at work decorating this *grand* gingerbread display, but in the meantime, you can order festive treats in the Grand Californian lobby!
The Grand Californian gingerbread house stands 7 feet tall and 12 feet wide and was created from more than 600 pounds of gingerbread, 600 pounds of powdered sugar, and 250 pounds of fondant. Once fully decorated, the Grand Gingerbread House will feature 25 hidden Mickeys!
There are 9 holiday treats available for purchase, plus eggnog and hot chocolate with the option to add liqueur. The Grand Californian gingerbread house shop officially opened for the season at noon on Saturday, November 16th and we were thrilled to take many of these treats home with us!
