The newly renovated Pixar Place Hotel has some of the best theming at any Disney Resort that extends from the moment you arrive to every detail inside the rooms!
As you step off the elevator to your room, you are greeted by subtle Pixar characters on the carpet that match the modern feel of the entire resort.
These details continue into all the in-room signage, like you’ve never seen before!
The biggest focal point of the room is the large mural behind the beds that features concept art from Up, Ratatouille, Toy Story 3, Finding Nemo, Soul, Coco, and Inside Out.
Despite the modern upgrades, the rooms still feel warm with textured wallpaper and light wood accents.
This also includes the hidden Luxo ball in the duvet and the fabulous bed pillows!
There are only three large drawers for storage- two in the nightstand and one in the desk below the TV. However, there is a fairly large closet and room for storing luggage below both beds.
In addition to an iHome charging alarm clock, there is also a sound machine and plenty of standard and USB chargers near the beds.

The sofa converts to a single bed. It is not a pull-out bed which does save space in the room and is surprisingly comfortable.
The desk area features a safe, one large drawer, a copy of “The Art of Pixar” to enjoy during your stay, and a working replica of the famous Luxo lamp!
The coffee bar area includes a floating shelf, Keurig coffee maker, glassware, coffee mugs, Joffrey’s coffee and Twinning’s tea k-cups, a mini-fridge, and one small drawer for storage.
The closet is thankfully deeper than it looks with upper storage, another space for luggage, and an iron/ ironing board.
The Pixar branding continues in the bathroom with themed hand wash, lotion, a vanity kit, shower cap, and in-shower shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Plus, there is more very cute signage from Wall-E and Luca. The shower head is detachable to help with bathing your little ones!
We booked a standard view room and were pleasantly surprised by our 7th floor view of the pool area!
