On Friday, I was not having a great day. You know, one of those ones where everything is a bit harder than it should be; by the end of it, you just need to go to bed and sleep it off? Well, that was me. As I did my final rounds of Disney surveillance, I came across something that I had saved a few months ago when it first came out. A video of the never-endlessly talented Sara Bareilles, with a spine-tingling version of When You Wish Upon a Star, celebrating the Disney100 celebration. I didn’t know how much I needed this until something in me insisted on clicking play. As soon as I heard it again, I knew that there would be someone out there who needed to feel what I was feeling by the time this piece was complete. Enjoy.
