2017 Hocus Pocus Merchandise Seems to Have Gone *POOF*

When the Disney Parks Blog first revealed the Halloween merchandise that would be available for purchase during the 2017 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there were quite a few items that featured the Sanderson Sisters from the very popular Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.

Guests who attended the first party on August 25th were surprised to find that none of the Hocus Pocus merchandise was displayed in any of the shops during the party.

According to MagicBand Collectors, one Magic Kingdom shop sold some of the limited edition MagicBands during regular hours the day before and “guests who questioned Cast Members about the merchandise were told many different things, from ‘we don’t have it all in stock yet’ to ‘it will never be for sale’, and it seems that no one on the front lines has been given the correct and official reason for why it’s not available.”

There is a rumor making its way around the internet that there might be a copyright infringement with the artwork making that the reason for the mysterious disappearance. We’ll just have to wait and see if new merchandise shows up or not at this point.

If you happened to purchase a Hocus Pocus MagicBand, consider yourself a lucky one!
