May 1, 2019 marks the 30th Anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort. A special cavalcade (small parade) made its way down Hollywood Boulevard and included favorite Disney Characters representing the shows and attractions within the theme park. (Editor’s Note: Our video of this event is at the bottom of this post.)
Some members of our team were there for the festivities and in case you don’t follow along on our social media channels, we’re sharing the details here as well; take a look!
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse arrived in style for the celebration.
Next up were some of the actors from the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.
Ariel and Prince Eric from Voyage of The Little Mermaid along with some extra friends were there too.
Beast and Belle from the Beauty and the Beast Stage Show in their carriage decorated with red roses were next.
The gang from Toy Story Land were led down Hollywood Boulevard by the Green Army Men.
Last in the cavalcade was the Cast from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge displaying all of the costumes guests will see when they enter Batuu later this year.
After the cavalcade, we were shown the brand new logo that’s coming to the park. As you can see in the photo below, the current logo is at the top with the new one under it.
There was also some special merchandise available and while the lines were long this morning, we were able to take photos of it during a media event.
