Cool Wash, which turned into a refreshment station by Test Track, is behind a tree wall, and demolition can be seen between the branches and gaps between the tarp and plants.
We aren’t sure what’s happening to the area, but it has been used as a space to eat during recent festivals. There were hightops here during the Food and Wine Festival, and across was the new favorite booth, The Fry Basket.
As I walked by and noticed the closure, I was shocked because I had last seen it full of tables. It was a great spot for extra seating, especially since finding a place to eat is hard during festivals. Guests visiting the Donut Box will have to find the nearest trash can to use as a table or walk to the back of the Creations Shop. They have high tops taking over the area that housed the Mac Eats booth and Coastal Eats booth for Food and Wine.
Hopefully, all that is happening is a refurbishment. They seem to be taking out the existing floor and maybe replacing it. I don’t want to speculate too much, but hopefully, the area isn’t gone forever.
