The Holidays have come to the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. It’s hard to imagine with the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party ending just the other day that we already get to celebrate the holidays. Tonight was the first night they performed “A Frozen Holiday Wish” at Magic Kingdom. The Castle is transformed typically at 6:15 PM and 8:20 nightly. Be sure to check the Times Guide when you arrive at the park for any changes. If you are spending the evening in the park for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party you might want to go to the second show. It will not be as crowded.
The temperature tonight didn’t reflect that it was almost time for the holidays. It was hot and muggy while watching it snow around Cinderella Castle. But this beautiful show can make it feel for just a few minutes that the Castle really is covered in ice.
Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf helped to light Cinderella Castle. They talk about how they are visiting a magical kingdom and don’t know if they should turn the castle into ice since it isn’t their castle. Anna asked the crowd if it would be ok if they did something to the castle and of course the crowd roared their approval. Slowly the Castle starts to transform.
I have seen the Castle lit many different ways but when the Castle is “Frozen” it looks absolutely beautiful! Disney sure knows how to decorate a Castle. I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek of the “Frozen” Castle.
I can’t wait for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to start on November 8, 2015. ‘Til next time, See you in the Parks!
