ABC’s American Idol began its search for the next singing sensation over the weekend as the Idol Bus arrived at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort.
On hand for the epic event was last season’s winner Maddie Poole, runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson, and finalist Catherine Turner, who were later joined by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse for the official kickoff moment at Magic Kingdom.
American Idol returns for its second season on ABC (2018-2019) with all-star judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Emmy-winning producer Ryan Seacrest will also return as host.
