The folks over at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa are getting ready to say “Aloha” as ABC’s American Idol show will be heading to Hawaii to film its showcase rounds in Ko Olina. Ryan Seacrest announced the news today on his live radio show, On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
American Idol will be back for its second season on ABC, premiering Sunday, March 3, at 8 p.m. Eastern.
Ryan Seacrest, who has been with the franchise since its inception in 2002, will return as the host. The returning judges this year are music legends Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie who will be joined by radio DJ, comedian, winner of Season 27 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars!, and best-selling author Bobby Bones.
