We’ve learned that Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be closed for several months this fall to undergo renovation.

The popular restaurant will close in early August and is expected to reopen in December.

A satellite location will be available during the closure, plus Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort guests can still enjoy ice cream at Ale & Compass, Beach Club Marketplace, Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar & Grill, and the Market at Ale & Compass.

Details of the renovations have not been released.
