Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Overnight Transition from Halloween to Christmas at Magic Kingdom

Last night after all of the Halloween ghosts made their way back to their ghoulish residences, Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom was magically transformed. The installation of holiday-themed décor featuring special touches of EARidescence in honor of Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary celebration appeared and just like that, it’s Christmas time!

While holiday festivities don’t officially begin property-wide until November 12th, guests visiting between now and then can catch an early peek at some of what’s in store such as the construction of the Gingerbread House in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

This holiday season, guests will discover unique entertainment, seasonal menu items, limited-time merchandise, and so much more. Stop by our Christmas at Disney World page to learn more about what’s going on throughout all of Walt Disney World.

Be sure to check out our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) as Deni is over at Magic Kingdom to share some of the decorations that are already up!

There are still room-only discounts available for Disney Visa cardholders, Annual Passholders, and Florida Residents for travel dates from December 12 through December 24, 2021.
