Bill Cosby statue removed from Disney’s Hollywood Studios


cosby A bronze bust of Bill Cosby is being removed from display at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. An online petition has been asking Disney to remove the statue after the allegations of dozens of women claiming to have been drugged and sexually assaulted by Cosby have come to light in recent months. On Monday, July 6, court documents were unsealed and it was revealed that “Cosby testified in 2005 he had obtained Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to women with whom he wanted to have sex.” Disney was to remove the statue after the park closed on Tuesday, July 7.
