What’s existed only in the form of Internet rumors will now be a part of the official Star Wars canon. Disney and Lucasfilm have announced that a Han Solo standalone film will be released in May of 2018 and will be directed by Christopher Miller and Phil Lord. لعبة مباشر Miller and Lord are the most well known for directing The Lego Movie and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs as well as both 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street.
Lawrence Kasdan (The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens) and his son Jon (Freaks and Geeks and Dawson’s Creek) are slated to write the screenplay. According to the official announcement on StarWars.com, “The story focuses on how young Han Solo became the smuggler, thief, and scoundrel whom Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi first encountered in the cantina at Mos Eisley.”
