Laughing Place is reporting and The DIS has confirmed that changes will be coming soon to Adventureland in Disneyland Park. The area has long been a bottleneck and with an updated Fantasmic! on the way, it appears that now is the time to finally do something about it.
There will be quite a bit of shuffling going on, but it should benefit guests when it’s done.
First, the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost and South Seas Traders will be closing. Select merchandise from those stores will be incorporated into the Adventureland Bazaar.
The outside bar and seating area for Bengal Barbecue will also go away and a new indoor seating area will be built where the Indy Outpost once sat.
Across the way, Tropical Imports will be moving over to the South Seas Traders location and the old Tropical Imports space will become…wait for it….stroller parking!
All of the moves are expected to happen BEFORE the new Fantasmic! show premiers later this summer.
