Charges have been dropped against Hector Herrera, who was accused of raping a woman at Disney Springs last July.
The woman was found naked in the bushes behind House of Blues and accused Herrera of raping her. She and Herrera, 27, of Kissimmee, were seen on security footage leaving the restaurant together. He was charged with sexual battery.
Herrera’s lawyers filed a motion on March 11 to have the case dismissed, claiming that her story was false. Herrera said “that he and the woman had been dancing inside The House of Blues, and she made sexual advances toward him and then suggested the two have sex in his car. bwin sport ” He then said that she pulled him into the bushes and they had sex, but after that she became upset that he didn’t have another condom for a second time. The woman claims to not remember these events.
