CONFIRMED: Walt Disney World Gondolas Are Official

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the Walt Disney World Resort is working on constructing a gondola system that will transport guests from Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Art of Animation. This has been a rumor floating around Disney forums and fans sites for a few months now, but it seems that the rumors are true.

The Orlando Sentinel received documents from the Reedy Creek Improvement District that confirmed the rumor. With that being said, Disney still refuses to admit what is seemingly set in stone. Disney released a statement to the Orlando Sentinel that simply said, “We are always looking to explore new transportation options that will make the resort experience even more magical for guests. We’re excited about our future plans on this front and look forward to sharing details at a later date.”

Little else is known about the gondolas, but it was reported that each cab will be able transport 10 guests at a time between the resorts and parks.
