The walls are down at the GCH Craftsman Bar and it appears that we could see a soft-opening in the next day or two for the new poolside eatery at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
The bar features a small food menu, plus a full bar menu that includes several signature cocktails. Here is what they’ll be serving:
- Craftsman’s Garden – Ilegal Mezcal Joven, lemon juice, and agave nectar [$15]
- Pineapple Ginger Margarita – Patron Silver Tequila, nostrum pineapple turmeric ginger shrub, Cointreau, and lime juice (frozen or on the rocks) [$16]
- Tamarind Margarita – El Jimador Silver Tequila, Cointreau Noir, lime juice, and liquid alchemist tamarindo (frozen or on the rocks) [$16]
- Prickly Pear Rosé – Rosé wine, prickly pear puree, and lemon juice [$14]
- Kombucha Cocktail – Tito’s Handmade Vodka, St. George Americano, lemon juice, simple syrup, and Suja Organic Pineapple Passionfruit Kombucha [$15]
- Matcha Maker – St. George Botanivore Gin, Domaine de Conton Ginger Liqueur, lemon juice, cream, Aquafaba, and matcha [$16]
- Bloody Mary – Grey Goose Vodka, Bloody Mary mix, muddled cucumber, and celery bitters [$15]
- Cucumber Spritz – St-Germaine Elderflower Liqueur, Lillet Blanc, Maschio Prosecco Brut, lemon juice, simple syrup, and club soda [$14]
- Paradisi Punch – Bacardi Grapefruit Rum, lime juice, orgeat (almond), and Combier Pamplermousse Rose Liqueur [$14]
- Coco de Agua – Bacardi Superior Rum with Pineapple and Lime Juices, and Zico Coconut Water [$13]
- Vanilla Mango Mule – Grey Goose La Vanilla Vodka, mango puree, lime juice, agave nectar, and ginger beer [$14]
- Yuzu Daiquiri – Bacardi Superior Rum, Yuzuri Yuzu Liqueur, lime juice, and simple syrup [$16]
- Banana Daiquiri – Flor de Caña Extra Seco 4 Yr Aged Rum, Giffard Banana Du Brésil Liqueur, and lime juice [$14]
- Grand Mai Tai – Bacardi 8 Yr Aged Rum, Myer’s Original Dark Rum, Orange Curacao, orgeat (almond), and lime juice [$15]
- Passion Fruit Mojito – Flor de Caña Extra Seco 4 Yr Aged Rum, Crème de Fruits de la Passion Liqueur, passion fruit syrup, lime juice, and club soda [$14.50]
There is also a selection of coffee cocktails and non-alcoholic specialty drinks.
The food menu features:
- Avocado Toast – Soft burrata, pomegranate seeds, pomegranate drizzle, fried parsley, spiced rice paper, and grilled ciabatta bread [$16]
- Cali Sliders – American Wagyu patty, oven-roasted tomato, vegetable relish, spiced hollandaise, Swiss, artichoke aioli, and pickled vegetables [$21]
- Double-Baked Beef Nachos – Tortilla chips, melted cheese, bacon lardons, black beans, scallions, slivered jalapeño pepper, cilantro, queso fresco, guacamole, and crema [$21]
- Maine Lobster Quesadilla – Flour tortilla, monterey jack, queso fresco, caramelized onions, roasted corn relish, sour cream, and spicy mayo [$23]
- Shawarma Chicken Skewer – Arugula-fennel salad with radishes, roasted tomatoes, pita bread, lemon wedges, and tzatziki dip [$19]
- Kimchee-Marinated Ahi Tuna Lettuce Cup – Tomatoes, onion, edamame, lime, lettuce leaves, and chile threads [$22]
- Garlic-Soy-Glazed Chicken Wings – Fresno chile, togarashi spice, furikake, parlsey, carrot, and celery ribbons [$16]
We are also hearing that once the Craftsman Bar opens, White Water Snacks will introduce a new menu and undergo a name change to GCH Craftsman Grill.
The GCH Craftsman Bar & Grill are located on the east side of the pool, near the hotel’s entrance to Disney California Adventure.
