When you visit Walt Disney World, there is always something new to see and do, and this summer will be no different. Disney’s PhotoPass Service has introduced ten new Magic Shots that are available now throughout the theme parks. Did you know Magic Shots are Disney PhotoPass exclusives you can’t capture on your own? These special offerings are available at iconic locations around Walt Disney World Resort and include super zoom videos, 360-degree photos, and 100+ whimsical photo effects. Take a look below for all the new photo ops straight from Disney!
Wild captures at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
1. While Disney PhotoPass photographers love capturing close-ups, they’ve taken to the skies to capture a bird’s-eye view of you with the Tree of Life. The photographer across from Feathered Friends in Flight can capture a video taken from a unique angle up in the trees. Rest assured, photographers will leave the treetop acrobatics to the gibbons and stay firmly on the ground during this experience.
2. Right next to the riverbend on the pathway between Africa and Asia, say ‘cheese,’ and Pocahontas’ snack-loving friend Meeko might appear in your photo. It sometimes takes a minute for Flit to warm up to strangers, but give it time, and he’ll probably appear in your photo, too.
Photos From Another Galaxy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
3. Join forces with Disney PhotoPass Service to capture scans showing your lightsaber igniting in Batuu. Near Oga’s Cantina during daylight hours, our Image Specialist’s capture droid has been modified to process scans in a way that will better transmit the glow of lightsabers when the planet’s suns are high in the sky. Travelers who haven’t assembled a lightsaber are welcome, as our Imaging Specialists are known for gathering some of the galaxy’s most unique items and are happy to share.
4. When you’re ready to relax between missions, Imaging Scanners near the Millennium Falcon can join you in playing Sabacc, the galaxy’s most popular card game. Well… from a certain point of view. You might not see all of the game pieces, but as Obi-Wan Kenobi once said, ‘Your eyes can deceive you.’
Oceans of Photo Fun at EPCOT
5. For boatloads of photo fun, set sail to EPCOT for new Moana Magic Shots. If you’re not a master wayfinder, I have great news: You can capture all of these offerings inside Journey of Water. Just go with the flow, and eventually you’ll see a photographer who can capture them.
6. Speaking of those who tend to get lost, for more fin-tastic Disney PhotoPass fun, just keep swimming to the entrance of The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Here you’ll find that the talented escape artist Hank has broken loose yet again and might appear alongside you… well, sort of in front of you. Either way, it’s righteous.
7. As part of V.I.PASSHOLDER Days, we’re offering photo ops near Dreamers Point designed specifically for Annual Passholders. Starting tomorrow, donut miss out on our next offering available through June 26 featuring a donut prop, sprinkled with a Stitch Magic Shot.
Annual Passholders can access all their digital memories for an entire year when they purchase the Disney PhotoPass Downloads add-on for $99 plus tax. This special purchase is available exclusively for Annual Passholders, and with it, they can download ALL the Disney PhotoPass photos and videos taken of them and up to 25 of their family and friends, including onboard more than a dozen attractions.
Photographing New Frontiers at Magic Kingdom Park
8. Attention users. Outside of TRON Lightcycle / Run, prepare for your race through the Grid with an Identity Disc that’s specially energized with a Magic Shot.
9. From the digital frontier to the actual frontier, onboard Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (opening June 28!), Disney PhotoPass Service will serve up a special photo of you.
Summery Snaps at Disney Springs
10. Enjoy beach vibes – with air-conditioning! Visit the Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs to capture photos with a new beachy backdrop, props and Magic Shots. The studio is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and no reservations are required.
Coming Soon
