Late Tuesday evening, Disney and American Federation of Musicians Local 389, the union who represents musicians who perform at its theme parks, came to an agreement extending the company’s furloughs to unionized workers.
During the furlough which will begin April 19, 2020, cast members will maintain their health benefits, educational support, and additional employee assistance.
The unions who represent the thousands of character performers and bus drivers are still negotiating with Disney.
