Short of living under a rock, there are no excuses for anyone who hasn’t heard of the Disney+ sequel series to the classic holiday-favorite franchise, The Santa Clause. Tim Allen made the movie famous when the original film came out in 1994. Eight years later, Allen returned as the beloved Scott Calvin for The Santa Clause 2, 2002, before joining Jack Frost (played by Martin Short) in 2006 for the third feature film, The Santa Clause 3. In 2022, a six-part Disney+ series, The Santa Clauses, was released and gained instant favor, with fans craving the next installment of holiday cheer.
Hot off the heels of the series finale being released, Disney has officially renewed this Christmas adventure for another season. The best part is that Allen, along with co-star and on-screen wife, Elizabeth Mitchell, is expected to return for season two (the franchise’s fifth installment). The Santa Clauses is currently streaming on Disney+.
