UPDATE 9:47PM– According to the communication sent to Disneyland passholders, “Disneyland passholders who held active passports as of March 14th, 2020 will continue to receive discounts based on their passport type on merchandise and food & beverages at select Downtown Disney District and Buena Vista Street locations, until new membership offerings are announced. As an added benefit, starting January 18th through February 25th, 2021, these passholders will receive a 30% discount on select merchandise at select locations in Downtown Disney District and Buena Vista Street, Monday through Thursday.”
Disneyland annual passholders were notified on Thursday that the annual passholder program, as it is currently configured, is coming to an end.
According to a statement released by Ken Potrock, president of Disneyland Resort, due to the pandemic and its effects on the resort’s operations, the current Disneyland annual passport program is being halted, and refunds will be issued appropriately. Disneyland annual passholders will receive an email regarding the “sunsetting” of the program.
New options to be offered are being planned, and details will be released in the future.
