The back half of the Rivers of America in Disneyland Park, which has been dry since early last year due to construction on the Star Wars project, is now being refilled.
Workers turned on the water this weekend to the newly rerouted waterway. The path of the river, the shape of Tom Sawyer Island, and the track of the Disneyland Railroad was changed to make more room for the Star Wars area being built north of Critter Country and Frontierland.
While the hope was to have the Rivers of America back open this summer, there is still no official information as to when watercraft would once again be traveling the Rivers of America.
