Walt Disney World has announced that from January 2025 through May 2025, Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will be closed for routine maintenance. They’ve advised that guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours.
Stormalong Bay remains one of the most popular pools at the Walt Disney World Resort due to its lazy river and sandy bottom. We love that Disney has given plenty of notice as they refresh their offerings from time to time.

During this closure, guests are able to use the Tidal, Admiral, and Dunes Cove leisure pools.
