Eva Green in Talks for Female Lead Role in Tim Burton’s Live-Action Adaptation of Dumbo

Back in 2015, we told you Disney had announced that Tim Burton signed on to direct a live-action adaptation of the classic 1941 animated film, Dumbo.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Eva Green, most recently known for her role as Miss Peregrine in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is in early talks with Disney on taking the lead female role in the film. The film is reported to have three adult roles in the remake.

According to Variety, Disney is still in search of their male lead role, as their deal with Chris Pine to play the male lead has fallen through in recent days.

There has been no word on when we can expect to see Dumbo in theatres at this point.
