In a press conference Friday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said that the state will be at a full Phase One regarding reopening businesses.
These details come just in time with Disney Springs preparing to open dining and shopping venues on May 20th.
Beginning Monday, May 18th, restaurants will be allowed to increase their indoor capacity to 50% from the previous 25% allowed.
Retail locations will also be allowed to increase their indoor capacity to 50% from the previous 25% allowed.
DeSantis did not provide a date for which theme parks could reopen, but he did state that their plans for reopening can be submitted at this time. He mentioned that the theme parks will need to outline what procedures are being introduced to help keep guests and staff safe before the government will allow them to reopen.
