If you are heading to this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom, go on an empty stomach because the Walt Disney World chefs have come up with some tempting treats for the holidays.
You’ll find two different Yule Logs during the party. The first at the Main Street Bakery is filled with white chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, and cassis pate de fruit, with a chocolate flourless cake. It’s covered in a red glaze and decorated with Mickey and Minnie. The Yule Log at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe features a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and ganache, and is decorated with Donald and Chip & Dale. Both Yule Logs are gluten-friendly.
At Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, try the Tinker Bell Dessert, featuring chocolate peppermint mousse, raspberry mousse, and dark chocolate mousse on top of a flourless chocolate cake, covered in a green glaze and decorated with Tinker Bell. Gaston’s Tavern will be serving the Enchanted Christmas Belle Dessert, with a flourless chocolate cake filled with white chocolate peppermint mouse, covered in a yellow glaze and decorated with Belle in her holiday coat. Both desserts are gluten-friendly.
Sleepy Hollow will have a Sandy Claws cake push-pop featuring Jack Skellington from A Nightmare Before Christmas. The dessert has layers of orange vanilla cake, cranberry cherry mousse, white crispy pearls, cream cheese buttercream and holiday sprinkles, topped with a Sandy Claws chocolate piece.
Sleepy Hollow will also be baking red velvet Mickey waffles and topping them with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce and holiday sprinkles.
For the taste of eggnog, head to Storybook Treats for their dessert featuring eggnog custard, topped with spiced chocolate cake, meringue and an edible Scrooge McDuck coin.
In addition to these treats, there are a few special treats that will be available both at the party and every day until Christmas, including the Holiday Cinnamon Roll. The trio of cinnamon rolls shaped like Mickey are drizzled with red and green icing and topped with a white chocolate snowflake. You’ll find the special cinnamon roll at the Main Street Bakery along with the Peppermint Cupcake, which is a red velvet cupcake filled with peppermint mousse and topped with cream cheese, buttercream, peppermint sprinkles and peppermint bark.
Also throughout the holiday season, you’ll find the Peppermint Ice Cream Sundae at both the Plaza Ice Cream Shop and Storybook Treats.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is held at the Magic Kingdom select nights beginning November 9th.
