How a Mediterranean-inspired Mural at Disney’s Riviera Resort Was Created

The Disney Parks Blog has gone behind-the-scenes to show how one of the more than 40 original pieces of art was created for Disney’s Riviera Resort, the new Disney Vacation Club property coming soon to Walt Disney World.

This Mediterranean-inspired mural was painted directly on the wall at Bar Riva, an open-air pool bar that features European- and Mediterranean-style food and beverages made to order.



Here’s how it all came together:

The Riviera Resort is scheduled to open on December 16th.
