Injured Worker Rescued from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Construction

On April 3rd, a man working on the construction of the new “Guardians of the Galaxy” ride at Disney California Adventure suffered an injury and required firefighter assistance, according to the Orange County Register.

Although the injury was minor, it affected his knee, and he could not make it down the scaffold without help. Sgt. Daron Wyatt said the firefighters used a harness to lower the man three stories from his perch.

Disney is currently converting their attraction “Twilight Zone Tower of Terror” into a new Marvel-themed ride, “Guardians of the Galaxy-Mission Breakout”. “Guardians” is expected to open next month.
