Latest Van Eaton Galleries Auction Focuses on History of Disneyland, Walt Disney World

The Van Eaton Galleries has released a look at their next auction, A History of Disneyland & Walt Disney World, which is their largest offering of Disney memorabilia yet.

Included in the 1,500 piece collection are historic pieces from both Anaheim and Orlando, plus items from Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and Shanghai Disneyland.

Highlights from Disneyland include a file copy of the 1953 Prospectus, an original doll from it’s a small world, and a PeopleMover vehicle.

From Walt Disney World, look for a copy of the Pre-Opening Investors Book, the original Penny Arcade sign from Main Street, a singing animatronic bird from the Enchanted Tiki Room, Humphrey Bogart and Gene Kelly’s hats from The Great Movie Ride, an original ride vehicle from The Living Seas, and more.

It’s easy to spend hours flipping through the digital pages filled with props, documents, Cast Member costumes, and other history artifacts from Disney parks around the world. If you’re in southern California, you can see many of the items in person at Van Eaton Galleries in Sherman Oaks select days through December 6th.

The auction takes place December 7th and 8th. Disneyland items will be featured on the 7th, with Walt Disney World and items from international parks on the 8th.
