Live-Action ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Returns to Two Theatres for a One-Week Special Engagement

With the awards season coming up quickly, Disney is re-releasing the live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast beginning December 1 exclusively at the AMC Century City in Los Angeles and AMC Empire 25 in New York. Golden Globe nomination ballots are due back on December 7 and Screen Actors Guild ballots are due on December 10.

The live-action remake was released domestically back on March 16, 2017. Beauty and the Beast has grossed more than $1 billion worldwide at the box office and is currently the year’s highest grossing domestic film with $504 million to date.

According to Variety, “members of AMPAS, BAFTA, ACE, ADG, ASC, CAS, DGA, HFPA, MPEG, MPSE, PGA, WGA, CDG, and VES will be admitted with a guest to screenings at both theaters with valid membership card.”
