Main Street Electrical Parade ending at Magic Kingdom and heading to Disneyland MSEP

Disney announced today that the Main Street Electrical Parade will be concluding an over 6-year-long run at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World on October 9, 2016.

The parade returned to the Magic Kingdom in the summer of 2010 for what was meant to be a limited time engagement and never left.

Following its Magic Kingdom run, the classic parade will head to the Disneyland Resort for a limited time encore-engagement at Disneyland Park.

Paint The Night is scheduled to end its main run at Disneyland Park on September 5th, but will be back for a few nights during the holiday season before the classic Electrical Parade returns.

The Main Street Electrical Parade began at Disneyland Park in 1972 and last played at the Disneyland Resort at Disney California Adventure from 2001 to 2010.
