Main Street Vehicles Return to Disneyland After Streetcar Track Replacement

After having construction walls up since early January, Main Street USA finally opened up recently, and today the Main Street Vehicles return to Disneyland Park. This includes the Horse-Drawn Streetcars that will be traveling on their brand new track.
While the track has been repaired over the last 60+ years, this was the first time in the park’s history that the entire track was removed and replaced. Any pieces of the original track that were still in place have been removed and preserved.

Also during the refurbishment, new brickwork was added along the length of the track.
While the horses of Disneyland were on their extended vacation, they kept busy training and participating in community events, like the recent parade in San Juan Capistrano.

The work began at Disneyland on January 8th and was expected to be completed by mid-March.
