New Free Parking Feature Added to My Disney Experience App!

The Disney parking lots are massive, and it’s easy to forget where you park. If you are like me, you might grab a picture or text a friend where you are parked, making leaving much more manageable. Disney just announced that a new Car Locator feature will be added to the My Disney Experience app and Disneyland apps. This feature will be available at Walt Disney World this summer and Disneyland later this year.

New Free Parking Feature Added to My Disney Experience App The DIS car news 1

The Car Locator is a complimentary feature that uses location technology to find and save your parking details. You will have to enable Location Services, Bluetooth, and Notifications on your mobile phone. This feature will be available at Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney Springs, Disney Water Parks, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

To find this feature on the app, you will open your My Disney Experience app and tap the Car Locator option on your home screen, or you can find it on the feature menu. After opening the Car Locator, you will be guided to enter information about where you parked. If your location settings are turned on, then the Car Locator will fill in that information for you. When you leave the park, open up the app and find the Car Locator, which will remind you where you parked earlier that day. State Farm sponsors this new feature.

Hi, I'm Erica, and I write about all things Disney. Before working for The DIS, I was a theme park performer at SeaWorld, but I also performed at Disney. I have such an immense love for theme parks to the point I studied them in college.
