If you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World this holiday season and you adhere to a plant-based diet, I have a new snack for you to add to your must-eat list.
New for the 10th anniversary of Disney’s Contemporary Resort’s Gingerbread Display, the bakery team has whipped up something that is both delicious and completely made of plant-based ingredients. The Plant-based Gingerbread Loaf has made its debut at the display this year, and costs $5.
As you can see from the picture, the gingerbread loaf is of quite a substantial size. This is a snack that is perfect for sharing with friends and family. It is a moist and thick gingerbread loaf, and is filled with warm flavors and spices.
The gingerbread loaf is a delicious treat that is lightly dusted with a sprinkling of powdered sugar on the top. This treat is not as dense as a typical gingerbread shingle or cookie would be, but is light and enjoyable.
In my mind, this gingerbread loaf is an incredible value, and is another “win” in the column for Disney’s new plant-based menu options.
If you have extra time on your Walt Disney World vacation this holiday season, be sure to stop by Disney’s Contemporary Resort Gingerbread Display. From the freshly made cookies to the event-specific merchandise to the Plant-based Gingerbread Loaf, you won’t be disappointed.
