At the beginning of each month, we can always count on the folks at Gideon’s Bakehouse to launch new flavors to tempt our tastebuds. Today, we’ve learned about some new and delicious-sounding sweets along with a couple of returning favorites. There is also some new merchandise heading to the Disney Springs location that fans should be on the lookout for. Keep reading for all the details!
Pictured at the top of this post is the new Strawberry Delight cookie. This masterpiece is made with strawberry dough blended with Gideon’s housemade Strawberry Puree. The dough is then filled with dark chocolates, and the cookie is sprinkled over the top with Strawberry Infused Sugar. Unlike strawberry candies, you won’t find any food coloring or extracts at Gideon’s Bakehouse.
Next is the return of the Eternal Flame. This velvety chocolate cookie is laced with Gideon’s special in-house ancho, cayenne, and cinnamon spice mix, then infused with an essence of cherry and topped with chocolate-covered cherries. The cookie is described as having a “deep chocolate flavor followed by the tingling warmth of a first kiss and the sweet presence of cherries.”
This month’s slice is the new Strawberry Cream Cake, which consists of three layers of soft strawberry cake, strawberry buttercream, and accents of chocolate ganache. You can find it at both Disney Springs and East End Market locations every Sunday and Thursday.
The Fire & Iced Coffee returns to Gideon’s at Disney Springs for the month of February. This mocha nitro cold brew has a touch of heat and it’s a guest favorite.
Gideon’s Bakehouse has introduced Margaret, the “hauntingly beautiful apparition.” Her love story is featured on this month’s collectible menu, and her print is available online now, but only for 24 hours. Also available as an online preorder is a new Valentina Hoodie. Magaret is featured on a T-shirt and the Eternal Flame candle has returned in-store and online.
