New Theme Song & So Much More Announced for Disneyland’s 70th! disneyland-70th-08

In December, we shared the full lineup of events and limited-time entertainment coming to Disneyland Resort in 2025, including a first look at what’s planned for the 70th-anniversary celebration. Today, Disneyland has revealed more details, like the return of some fan favorites, plus a new look at even more that’s in store, like a first look at new merchandise and a brand-new ticket offer!

To honor the 70th anniversary, a lively new theme song, Celebrate Happy, will be playing throughout the celebration.

The “World of Color – Happiness!” nighttime spectacular will have guests singing and dancing along. The show will include a special rendition of Rainbow Connection by R&B group Boyz II Men and a brand-new original song, Makes Me Wanna Move, performed by FITZ, frontman of Fitz and the Tantrums.

Before “World of Color” begins, guests can enjoy a special message from some familiar faces. With the guidance of Joe the Legal Weasel, more than a dozen of The Muppets will deliver their message through projections and expressive fountains ahead of the show.

This nighttime spectacular will explore happy through a kaleidoscope of emotions, hosted by Joy and the other Emotions from the hit Pixar Animation Studios films Inside Out and Inside Out 2. Along the way, the Emotions manifest music and moments from other favorite Pixar Animation Studios’ stories, including Turning Red and The Incredibles, as well as Walt Disney Animation Studios’ stories, including A Goofy Movie, Tangled, Encanto and so many more.

The Paint the Night parade will make its grand return to Disneyland for the 70th celebration, lighting up Main Street, U.S.A. In this dazzling parade, “Mickey Mouse uses his vivid imagination to harness the power of Tinker Bell’s pixie dust and Paint the Night in Disney dreams, bringing to light beloved characters and stories from Pixar films such as Monsters, Inc., Cars, and Toy Story and Disney Animation films including The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and more.”

Anna and Elsa from Disney Animation’s Frozen will rejoin the parade on their float when it returns to Main Street, U.S.A., for the first time since its initial run.

This nighttime spectacular celebrates the legacy of Walt Disney Animation Studios classics that inspired Walt Disney’s original magic kingdom. Throughout the show, guests embark on a journey filled with artistry, music, storytelling and heart as they experience moments from beloved stories like Hercules, The Princess and the Frog, Peter Pan, Frozen, Big Hero 6, Moana, Encanto, and more. On select nights, fireworks will light up the sky, adding extra magic to the show.

This lively daytime parade brings Pixar’s heartwarming stories to life with energetic music, vibrant floats, and over two dozen beloved characters from films like Luca, Turning Red, and Up. It’s a celebration of friendship, adventure, and the magic of Pixar!

Each night at Disneyland, the it’s a small world façade will transform with light, music, and stunning projection effects. Tapestry of Happiness will weave together animated scenes of iconic Disneyland attractions and memories, all in a style inspired by Disney legend Mary Blair. Set to the original 70th celebration theme song, Celebrate Happy, the show will also feature familiar Disneyland melodies from across the decades.

Disney says, “Tapestry of Happiness will be a visual love letter to Disneyland, bringing all of us together through memories of The Happiest Place on Earth. It will remind us that no matter how old we are or where we call home, we all come together in this magical place through the eyes of our inner child, finding happiness in a unique and personal way.”
