It looks like Disney’s Animal Kingdom may be working its way back to being a daytime-only park after Labor Day. We reported last week that the Jungle Book: Alive with Magic show will end after September 5 (Labor Day). After that, park closing times will move to 9:00 pm instead of 11:00pm like they’ve been since Memorial Day to accommodate the nighttime safari, dance parties, and the Tree of Life Awakening. In October, park closing will be 7:00pm and will go back even further to 6:00pm in November.
It will be interesting to see if this is a permanent change or if park hours will be adjusted when (if?) Rivers of Light finally debuts.
What do you think about these changes? Did you experience Animal Kingdom at night and if so, were you impressed?
