5) River Roost Lounge
Guests staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside should check out the River Roost Lounge! If you are lucky you’ll have the chance to watch Yehaa Bob Jackson’s piano performance. Yehaa Bob has been performing at Walt Disney World for over 19 years and has become a staple of the River Roost Lounge. Plan your visit the bar accordingly because Yehaa Bob only performs for about an hour and half. Typically, Yehaa Bob plays Wednesday to Saturday starting at 8:30 P.M. Besides Yehaa Bob the River Roost Lounge has a lot to offer with appetizers and a full bar. The appetizers are New Orleans themed; with options like Crescent City Gumbo and N’Orleans Nachos, you should come with an appetite.
4) Mizner’s Lounge
Located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is Mizner’s Lounge. This elegant lounge is perfect for adults looking to spend a relaxing evening together. On the second floor of the Grand Floridian, this bar is tucked away behind the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra that plays every night. Their music is the perfect accompaniment to the appetizers and drinks that you can enjoy at the bar. This is a great place to grab a drink and appetizers before heading back to the Magic Kingdom as it is only one monorail stop away.
3) The Hollywood Brown Derby
The Hollywood Brown Derby is one of the fancier restaurants on Walt Disney World property, and enjoying a drink and an appetizer here is a great way to sample this restaurant without having to shell out the big bucks for a full meal. The Hollywood Brown Derby has an outside lounge, and a restaurant inside, and is located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. With the incredible Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Fireworks show now happening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios you’ll want to stay later in this park, and The Hollywood Brown Derby is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat and enjoy a drink or two before the fireworks.
2) California Grill Lounge
If you love incredible views, then California Grill Lounge is the place for you. California Grill is a pricey restaurant, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying their lounge. In the lounge you still have the amazing view of the Magic Kingdom that restaurant diners have, and you’ll enjoy it for a much cheaper price. Splitting an appetizer and enjoying a drink or two makes the California Grill Lounge an affordable alternative to this signature restaurant at Walt Disney World.
1) Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and Tiki Bar
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar opened in Disneyland in 2011 and quickly became a fan favorite, so Walt Disney World decided to expand Disneyland’s success and opened their own east coast Trader Sam’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in 2015. The silly, almost bizarre, atmosphere is extremely fun. It is more than a bar experience, and it is a place that adults can enjoy even if they don’t drink alcohol. The interactive bartenders and fun environment make this bar a must-do for adults visiting Walt Disney World. Much like Mizner’s Lounge, Trader Sam’s is a quick monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom, which makes it a great place to stop for a drink before a night in the park.
