UPDATE 06/08/20: Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings has lifted the temporary overnight curfew effective immediately. Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer has has also lifted a similar curfew for Orlando.
Disney Springs has resumed its normal operating hours and is scheduled to close at 10:00pm tonight. Individual restaurants and retailers may not have adjusted their hours as of yet.
Starting today and until further notice, Orlando and the rest of Orange County are under an overnight curfew from 10:00pm to 5:00am. In order to comply with that curfew, Disney Springs at Walt Disney World will be closing at 7:00pm effective today, giving Cast Members and other employees time to return to their homes before the curfew is in effect
Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings issued the order this afternoon, with the City of Orlando also enacting similar rules.
All pedestrian and vehicular movement, standing and parking, except for individuals commuting to and from places of employment, the provision of fire, police, emergency and hospital services, medical patients, utility repairs, state and local government employees providing services, and emergency calls by physicians within the above curfew area, are prohibited during curfew hours. Curfew hours during which such movement is prohibited shall be each day from 10:00 P.M. until 5:00 A.M., commencing Sunday, May 31, 2020 until terminated by executive order.
