Ample Hills Creamery Will Not Reopen at Disney’s BoardWalk; Disney Springs Location Cancelled

Back in March, we shared that Ample Hills Creamery, an ice cream shop based in Brooklyn, NY, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Although the Disney Springs website still says “Coming Soon” and the BoardWalk location said, “Temporarily Unavailable”, we’ve now learned thanks to Attractions Magazine, that not only will the BoardWalk location that has been Ample Hills Creamery Will Not Reopen at Disney’s BoardWalk; Disney Springs Location Cancelled

Palmas & Patina Restaurant Groups Lay Off Employees from Restaurants at Disney World

We’ve learned this morning that the Palmas Restaurant Group has laid off an undisclosed number of employees from their restaurants in the Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT. The Bahamas Closing to Visitors from U.S. Beginning July 22 Due to Spiking COVID-19 Cases

On Sunday, Bahamian Prime Minister Huberg Minnis announced that international commercial flights and ships carrying passengers will not be allowed to enter The Bahamas unless they are from Canada, the United Kingdom, or the European Union beginning Wednesday, July 22nd. The end date for this restriction has not been announced. Adventures by Disney Extends Cancellations Through September 30

UPDATE 7/22/20: Adventures by Disney has made the decision to suspend ALL departures through September 30, 2020. The prior announcement did not include every September Adventure, but in the latest update, guests booked on the September 19th Iceland adventure and the September 21st Arizona & Utah adventure are now impacted. Disney Confirms Permanent Closure of Primeval Whirl, Rivers of Light, & Stitch’s Great Escape

According to a post on Twitter from Disney Reporter Scott Gustin Thursday, Disney has announced that two Walt Disney World attractions and one nighttime spectacular would be closing for good. Worldwide Theme Park Attendance Grew 4% in 2019, Disney’s Numbers Dropped Slightly

While attendance at the largest theme park companies in the world was up 4% in 2019, Disney Parks saw a drop in attendance of 0.8%. Disney did, however, hold on to the top spot for theme park companies and individual theme parks. In order to be allowed admittance into a Walt Disney World theme park, guests must not only have valid tickets, but they must also have a park reservation confirmed through the Disney Park Pass System. Spaceship Earth Changes and Cherry Tree Lane Project Missing From The Epcot Experience

Guests visiting the newly reopened Epcot have discovered that The Epcot Experience is missing any evidence of the changes announced for Spaceship Earth or the Mary Poppins-themed Cherry Tree Lane project set for the United Kingdom pavilion.
