SeaWorld Orlando is making plans for their Halloween event, Halloween Spooktacular. Spooktacular is a family-friendly Halloween event that is perfect for youngsters not old enough for the spookier holiday events, such as Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. Kids will enjoy games, music, dancing, and bubble machines. Treat stations are set up for trick or treating fun; over one million pieces of candy will be passed out. Included with park admission, the marine park’s kid-friendly celebration has a sea theme and is a great way for kids to get to show off their Halloween costumes one more time.
Back again this year is the Spooktacular Dance Party, hosted by Princess Penelope and her friends. Kids will be able to dance with the characters while the night air is filled with bubbles. The party is held each night of the event, at the front of the park one hour before closing.
Penelope’s Party Zone is back, with a DJ, crafts and meet and greets with SeaWorld characters, such as pumpkin fish, mermaids, spider-crabs, penguins, Dolly Dolphin, Shivers the Polar Bear and Shamu.
Kids will enjoy Sesame Street’s Countdown to Halloween, a musical stage show where the Sesame Street monsters have to try to get The Count into the Halloween spirit.
Cookie decorating stations will be set up for kids to decorate their own treat. Kits are $7 and include a cookie, frosting and toppings.
The Dine With Shamu Halloween Spooktacular Brunch will return this year. This brunch is available for an additional fee and puts guests at reserved tables poolside next to SeaWorld’s orca area. Included with the brunch is a Halloween Spooktacular photo frame, cookie decorating kit and a trick or treat bag full of treats. Brunch is $28 for adults and $16 for kids.
Spooktacular will be held every weekend in October from 12-7 pm.
