Sorcerer’s Hat at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to come down January 7

In October, Disney announced that the Sorcerer’s Hat at Disney’s Hollywood Studios would be removed in early 2015, but no specific date was given. News 13 has confirmation from Disney that the hat’s removal will begin Wednesday, January 7. Construction walls will be up during the process, the length of which has not been determined. There are currently no plans to move the hat to another location.
