Earlier today, the Disney Parks Blog released exciting new details about the Star Wars Galactic Nights event coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios the night of December 16, 2017!
Warwick Davis will be attending the event! Davis is known amongst Star Wars fans for playing Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi as well as a bunch of other roles in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Phantom Menace, Ewoks: Battle for Endor, Caravan of Courage. He will also have roles in the upcoming Star Wars films including Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
“Inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” will be a do-not-miss panel that will be discussing the new land coming to both Disneyland park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The panel will be hosted by actor David Collins, and both Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm representatives will be part of the panel. Some of these representatives include:
- Scott Trowbridge – Portfolio Creative Executive at Walt Disney Imagineering
- Robin Reardon – Executive Creative Producer at Walt Disney Imagineering
- Chris Beatty – Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering
- Doug Chiang – VP/Creative Director at Lucasfilm
On Sunset Boulevard, Star Wars themed projections will light up the Hollywood Tower Hotel throughout the night in Star Wars: Galactic Destinations. These projections will display “stunning locations from across the galaxy.”
Attendees of the event will also be the first to see the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi additions that will be added to Star Wars Launch Bay, Star Wars: Path of the Jedi and “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.”
