Swan and Dolphin Resort Announces Menus, New Themed Area for the 2018 Food & Wine Classic

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort has released some new information about this fall’s Food & Wine Classic, including menus and details on a new themed area. This year’s event takes place October 26th and 27th.

The Pig & The Poke is a new Hawaiian-themed area that will serve Shaved Ice, Kalua Pork and Tuna Poke. The new area joins other returning areas, including Carnival Corner, Chinatown and Bubble Lounge.

The Food & Wine Classic features 60 stations with food items from the hotel’s award winning restaurants, plus wine from 30 different wineries, live entertainment and hands-on seminars. The event takes place along the causeway between the Swan and Dolphin.

This year’s menus feature returning favorites such as the Oven Roasted Rib Eye from Shula’s Steakhouse, Dragon Sushi Roll from Kimonos, and desserts from World Champion Pastry Chef Laurent Branlard, plus several new items, including:

  • Todd English’s bluezoo – Dynamite Rock Shrimp with late season Zellwood corn, wasabi foam, matsutake mushrooms, Japanese eggplant and crispy lotus root.
  • Cabana Bar & Beach Club – Vietnamese Lemongrass Meatballs On a Stick with vermicelli noodles, pickled vegetables and sriracha espuma.
  • Il Mulino – Braised Beef Agnolotti with caponata-agrodolce, baby leeks, and glace de viande mornay sauce.
  • Picabu – Shake & Bake Style Southern Fried Chicken with black eyed pea puree, white cheddar fondue and bacon infused roasted garlic gravy.

Again this year, the special Sunday Bubbles Brunch will be presented at Il Mulino on Sunday, October 28th. The event features traditional and not-so-traditional brunch items, plus a glass of champagne or mimosa.

Tickets for the Food & Wine Classic are $127 for a standard causeway ticket or $155 for the causeway ticket, plus the Beer Garden upgrade. Tickets for the Sunday Bubbles Brunch, food seminars and beverage seminars are sold separately.

Overnight and multiple-night package options that include tickets for the event and a room at the Swan and Dolphin are available as well, and can be booked by calling 1 (888) 828-8850.
