According to Deadline.com, Disney’s live-action film The Nutcracker And The Four Realms will be released on November 2, 2018. This news is a departure from what was heard at the D23 Expo, where the live-action panel seemed to hint that the film’s release date wouldn’t be until 2019.
The Nutcracker And The Four Realms is inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s 1816 story “The Nutcracker And The Mouse King”. The film is directed by Lasse Hallstrom, and will star Keira Knightley, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, Eugenio Derbez, Mackenzie Foy and Ellie Bamber.
