Stage Version of ‘Frozen’ Finalizes Cast, Adds New Choreographer

Disney Theatrical Productions' live adaptation of the animated hit Frozen may have finally locked in its leadership and cast after several changes at the top. Last Fall, director Alex Timbers was replaced by Michael Grandage.  With the change in the creative direction due to Grandage at the helm, choreographer Peter Darling was replaced by Christopher Gatelli.  Now, Gatelli is being replaced by Rob Ashford. Caissie Levy and Patti Murin are set to play Elsa and Anna respectively.  Jelani Alladin will play Kristoff and Greg Hildreth will appear as Olaf.  John Riddle as Hans and Robert Creighton as the Duke of Weselton round out the cast. The production is set to premier in Denver on August 17, 2017 for a 6-week run before moving to the St. James Theater on Broadway next Spring.   Source: Variety
