Two New Global Marketplaces, Music Acts, & Radio Disney Artists Added to Food & Wine Festival

Walt Disney World has just announced that two brand new marketplaces have been added to the Global Marketplace lineup for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

The Donut Box and Cool Wash will both make their debut on October 1 – way after the Festival begins on August 29.

Disney chefs have been working on a new spin on donuts including a Black and White Coffee Cocktail that’s embellished with a yeast donut sprinkled with chocolate espresso bean crumbles. Also featured will be a Sweet Corn Fritter with Fresno and red pepper jelly, plus Strawberry-dusted Yeast Donut Holes. Additionally, a Strawberry Smoothie made with Blue Diamond Breeze Almondmilk® and an exclusive festival beer called Boston Cream Donut Ale from Central 28 Beer Company, located in DeBary, Florida will be on the menu.

Cool Wash will offer guests a create-your-own frozen beverage bar with slushy flavors such as Blue Raspberry and Orange Cream among others. There will also be mix-ins like Swedish Fish, Jelly Drops, Boba Pearls, and, Pop Rocks.

In additional Food & Wine Festival news, Joey Fatone and Friends — featuring Chris Kirkpatrick and Ryan Cabrera — have been added to the Eat to the Beat concert lineup for Nov. 12-14. Additionally, alternative rock band Smash Mouth – soon to release a brand-new album — will be onstage Sept. 16-17 and this completes the schedule.
